Laurel followed three-time High School City Wrestling Champion Andreina Rodriguez for two years. According to her coach, she is “as physically talented as any female wrestler in the United States and has all the tools to be an Olympic-caliber wrestler.” Andreina is now in her senior year at Grover Cleveland High School in Queens, NY, and if she wins the city championships this year, she will be the first New York City four-time Girls Champion.
