  • Quarantine Tip: Pull out those old roller skates and take them for a spin in your living room. Don’t forget to enjoy a milkshake and some tunes while you skate.
  • Quarantine Tip: Spend your day staring at the clocks on the wall waiting for time to pass.

Photographer Jesse Rieser for Society Magazine

Published in French magazine Society’s â€śAmerica” issue, Jesse’s photo essay depicts a Latino neighborhood plagued by “The Serial Street Shooter” while serving as a metaphor for issues in American policy and politics: a lack of immigration reform, racial inequity, a shrinking middle class, community policing dysfunction, a lack of mental healthcare and quotidian gun violence. This work was also a winner in the American Photography Annual, featured in Buzzfeed, Fast Company, Feature Shoot, and The Daily Mail, along with being exhibited at the Houston Center of Photography.
