Photographer and Director Clay Patrick McBride shot the rapper Shyne in Mexico City following Shyne’s release from a 10 year prison sentence. The client is Island Def Jam Records. Island Def Jam has signed Shyne to a multi-million dollar deal. This picture of Shyne was inspired by the imagery of Malcolm X.

Peter Lippmann jewelry story for Marie Claire

Peter Lippmann found inspiration from his friend Herve Lopez’s collection of garden dwarfs to create this modern day story tale featuring various jewelry designers. Another friend, Jerome Gonfon, who is an art director at Leo Burnett, suggested the twist of snow white as a woman of color.
